TAHASANG sinabi ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa kanyang pahayag sa kanyang opisyal na Facebook page na ang reklamong impeachment laban sa kanya ay hindi nasusuportahan ng mga ebidensya. Ayon sa kanyang pahayag sa ika-limang araw ng paglilitis, ang “rule of law” ay dapat nakadepende sa mga “facts.”
“Repeatedly claiming that there were threats when none existed, inventing an assassin where there was none, and fabricating evidence to support those claims does not transform fiction into fact,” pahayag ng ikalawang pangulo.
Idinagdag pa niya, “Instead, such actions undermine the integrity of public institutions, erode public trust, waste public resources, and corrupt the search for truth.”
Diin pa niya, “The rule of law depends on facts, not fiction.”
