NAGPAHAYAG ng kanyang pagkadismaya si Senator Risa Hontiveros sa naganap na ulat ng mga pinuno ng Department of Finance, National Economic Development Authority at Department of Budget and Management.
Aniya, “ Sa unang hearing ng Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) sa Senado, sinabi ni Sec. Ralph (Recto) na mayroon silang four priorities. Pero sabi rin ni Sec. Arsi (Arsenio Balisacan) na mayroong six priorities, at si Sec. Menah (Pangandaman) naman ang sabi ay may eight priorities.
“That’s a clear disconnect. The DBCC, which is tasked with overseeing our economy and fiscal policy, must function as a cohesive unit, and not a set of departments planning on their own.
”Sa lahat nang ito, nasaan ba ang Pangulo? The economic team must be taking the lead from him.
